Professional Bio
Ishka is a Bachelor of Medical Science and Doctor of Medicine (BMedSc/MD) student at Monash University. She is currently completing a honours year with the Monash Health Supportive and Palliative Care Unit.
She also has experience in advocacy and leadership. Last year she was the President of the Monash Student Association (MSA), the peak representative body for Monash University Clayton Students. As MSA President, she worked with Monash University to support students through the transition back to campus and face-to-face learning. This required new welfare programs, a large investment in clubs, societies, and campus life, and unique academic support. Ishka is currently the student member of the Monash University Council and Academic Board.
