Professional Bio
Speech Pathology and Counselling are the professional fields that I was involved in during my lengthy career in Health, Education, Rehabilitation and Private Practice. Volunteering in our community is a passion. Over recent years I was actively involved with Hospice Volunteers South (Tas), Palliative Care Tasmania, Palliative care Australia and Lifeline Tasmania in Hobart. I am now in transition having returned to life in Brisbane in recent times. I am a member Palliative care Queensland and I am currently investigating Volunteer possibilities.
Volunteering has brought me satisfaction, provided much opportunity for learning and growth and has been an opportunity to make friends and connections with many people.
Serving for Quality Improvement in Palliative Care, in collaboration with services and communities is important for us all I believe.
