I was born and raised in Samoa, my Father was Samoan and my mother is Fijian. My early education was largely at home in Samoa and all my tertiary education in New Zealand at the University of Otago and Auckland University. I’m a general practitioner, a fellow of the RNZCGP and have practiced in New Zealand and since 2010, I have been living and working in Samoa. I moved into the space of medical education in 2015, and have been interested in developing postgraduate medical education in LMIC like Samoa particularly in the spaces of primary care  and palliative care.
