Tara Devi Laabar is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Nursing and Public Health at the Khesar Gyalpo University of Medical Sciences of Bhutan. Tara started her career in 1999 with a Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery. She then upgraded to Bachelors of Nursing in 2009. She worked as a clinical nurse in various hospitals in Bhutan. In 2010, Tara got an opportunity to study Masters in Public Health in Thailand after which she started teaching at the Faculty of Nursing and Public Health. In 2018, Tara came to Australia to pursue PhD in Palliative Care at the University of Western Australia. She graduated in December 2022.
