Leah Robinson
Project Manager - Pharmaceutical Society of Australia
Professional Bio
Leah is a Project Manager with the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia (PSA).
Losing her mother to GBM Brain cancer in 2020, she identified a tremendous unmet need in the role of pharmacists in palliative care during her personal journey. By following this passion and growing her knowledge and network, she developed and operationalised the TerryWhite Chemmart initiative for Palliative Care in 2021 "Pledge to Palliate" for Community pharmacists to ensure palliative care patients have timely access to anticipatory medicines.
Leah advocates for pharmacists and the role they can play in palliative care across all practice settings and is currently project managing and developing the National Palliative Care Pharmacist Foundation training and pilots as part of the national palliative care grants program.
