Karen Anderson is a counsellor, psychodynamic psychotherapist, couple, family and group psychotherapist with extensive experience working in educational, welfare and health sectors. Karen works psycho-dynamically and embraces a holistic approach towards assisting people to achieve psychological and emotional health and wellbeing. Karen is an academic (Lecturer, Unit Coordinator and Clinical Supervisor) in both undergraduate and postgraduate Counselling and Psychotherapy courses at Edith Cowan University. She is a Psychosocial Care Consultant with Bethesda Health Care and also conducts a private practice providing counselling, psychotherapy, training and clinical & professional supervision. Karen was inducted into the WA Women's Hall of Fame in 2022 in the category of Education for her contributions to training in psychosocial care in oncology and palliative care.
