Bronwyn works as an Aged Care Social Worker at Melbourne City Mission Palliative Care (MCMPC) – a community palliative care service providing in-home holistic palliative care support in the Melbourne Council Areas of Darebin, Hume, Yarra and Merri-bek.
Bronwyn has worked with the MCMPC Aged Care Team since it was established in 2019. Previous to this, Bronwyn worked in the MCMPC community team as a Social Worker/Counsellor.
MCMPC Aged Care Team includes 3 Palliative Care Clinical Nurse Consultants and 2 Social Workers covering over 60 RACF's in the MCMPC catchment. The team specifically focuses on the provision of specialist palliative care support for clients who live in Residential Aged Care along with support for their families and education/support for staff.
