Professor Barker is a clinical trialist, health services researcher, and leader in innovation, with experience spanning start-ups, academia, and corporate sectors.
As the Executive Director, Research & Innovation at Silverchain, Anna leads the strategy to shape how the future of care in the home is delivered in Australia and internationally. Anna also leads the data and analytics team and function for Silverchain.
An active researcher with Adjunct Professorial appointments at the Health Innovation & Transformation Centre, Federation University, School of Population Health, Curtin University and the School of Nursing, Queensland University of Technology. She is also an Adjunct A/Professor at the School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine, Monash University.
Prior to Silverchain, Anna led the design and delivery of strategic health initiatives as Head of Member Health Innovation and Propositions for Medibank Private, this included the delivery of digital health solutions and health data integration projects.
