Alison currently works in her own business HarpCare as a Creative Arts Therapist and Clinical musician.
For the past 15 years she has contracted into Canberra Health Services delivering The Therapeutic Harp Program and works at The Canberra Hospital, Clare Holland House), the University of Canberra Hospital and privately in the community.
Alison’s main instrument is the Celtic Harp and works predominately in Acute, Palliative and End of Life care.

Alison is a level 2 Registered Counsellor, and has qualifications in Clinical Musicianship, Therapeutic harp, Counselling, Mindfulness meditation, Spiritual and Pastoral Care, Art Therapy and Nursing.
She has maintained a lifelong love of animals and is currently a volunteer at the National Zoo and Aquarium providing Harp music as audio and visual enrichment for the animals.
Her book The Therapeutic Harp workbook was published in 2019 and is available from all online book stores in both hard copy and eBook.
