Prof Deborah Parker
Professional Bio
Deborah is the Professor of Nursing Aged Care (Dementia) in the Faculty of Health at the University of Technology Sydney. Deborah has worked as a palliative care researcher for over 20 years and has received over $58 million in research funding. Her primary research areas are palliative care for older people, dementia and health services evaluation in aged care. She is co-lead on End of Life Directions in Aged Care, a federally funded program to improve palliative care and advance care planning for older Australians. Deborah is Vice President of Palliative Care New South Wales and Board Director of Carrington Care.
