About Palliative Care NSW

Palliative Care NSW represents its members as the peak body and leading voice for the palliative care community in NSW. We work for our members in promoting and supporting quality palliative care for everyone, everywhere. We are supported by local and NSW government, membership, funding stakeholders and other community groups and associations.

Our purpose is to support access to, and equity of, quality palliative care for everyone.  We do this by empowering health professionals and the broader community with the support and resources needed to achieve our collective vision.

Our strategic focus is:

Member-centric: We value the diversity of membership and develop strategies and resources to accommodate specific needs, such as outreach projects that focus on service providers and members living regionally and remotely.

Stakeholder-centric: We are actively involved in partnership programs with funding stakeholders aimed at community and cross-sector collaboration, helping us achieve greater results for our members and the broader community.  Community Conversations flyer
